Financing Sought
Tie a Yellow Ribbon LLC (TYR) is seeking funds for all levels of production (pre-, production, post-). Although the majority of funding is expected to come from government and private foundation grants, individual and corporate donations, as well as private investment are also extremely important.
In 2004, Joy Dietrich was awarded a grant from the New York Council on the Arts for the Tie a Yellow Ribbon film project. Substantial investments by Shouting Cow Productions and other private individuals were made in the same year to allow the TYR team to shoot a portion of the film in February 2005.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon has been honored by Women Make Movies with admission into their fiscal sponsorship program. Consequently, all contributions to Tie a Yellow Ribbon LLC (TYR) may be written off as tax deductible charitable donations to the extent allowed by law. In the interest of full disclosure, please note that Women Make Movies does take a 5 percent administrative fee.
